History

In 1974 a group of Americans toured the UK singing in theatres, pubs and clubs promoting barbershop singing and inspiring men in this country to enjoy and sing as they did. As a result a small group of men from in and around Stockport got together and formed Harmony Revival, this was the same year that the British Association of Barbershop Singers (BABS) also formed and although we are not one of the founder members we have been a presence in the barbershop world for over 50 years now. We have competed and won awards at local Music Festivals - Hazel Grove and Alderley Edge - as well as competing at BABS conventions numerous times at Bournemouth, Southport and Llandudno and most recently at Harrogate where under the leadership of our new MD Andy King we came top of our Division
