Harmony Revival

Harmony Revival has been singing, entertaining, and raising money for charity since 1974. We specialise in four-part barbershop harmony sung in unaccompanied “a cappella” style, and our aims are simply to enjoy making music among ourselves and to share that enjoyment with our audiences. We are members of the British Association of Barbershop Singers.

The songs we perform are both traditional and modern, representing a wide variety of musical eras and styles, from beautiful ballads to rousing show tunes, with a touch of novelty and a lot of heart. Composers range from Johnny Mercer and Hoagy Carmichael to John Lennon and Paul McCartney, with many great songs given special treatment by some of the best-known American barbershop arrangers.

There is comedy too at our concerts or “singouts,” with jokes from compere Ken to complete the entertainment.
