Harmony Revival

Hello, and happy new year everyone! We've got 2012 off to a great start by welcoming a new member onto the risers: Mike came to our one day learn to sing course back in October and has decided to make the stay permananent, and he will be joining the Bass section. We wish Mike the best of luck!

Harmony Revival performed in front of M&S and Tesco in Handforth Dean in December to raise money for St Annes Hospice, and were able to raise an amazing £311.83

Here's a picture of our Chairman Alan handing the cheque over to the very grateful staff at St. Annes Hospice. Hopefully we'll be able to do something for them again soon!

We at Harmony Revival would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas at the end of what has been a fabulous year for us! Sue has worked wonders with us, which has really showed with our concerts over the past few months all getting rave reviews. We're starting to get quite a full diary for 2012 as well, so there'll be plenty of opportunity for you to see us.

Don't forget we're always happy to have new members, so if you want to get in on the act then get in touch and come and visit - everyone gets a little nervous but I'm sure you'd love it!

Here's hoping 2012 is just as good (if not better) than 2011!

After a lot of hard work and effort, the Harmony Revival website is now up and running in all areas. The main part that took the time to complete is the members area, which serves two main purposes:

To inform the members of other members conatct details (like a phone book), and

To supply teach materials to the members

The other improvements that everyone can see are things like the 'what is barbershop?' page, giving a brief overview of our artform, and the 'useful links page' which points you in the direction of some other websites which you may find interesting.
