Steve Tyldesley – Chairman
I got into barbershop after a friend of mine invited me to watch a concert. It was the finale of a Learn to Sing course he had attended. After that I was hooked. I joined Harmony Revival and have been in the Chorus for seven years. Barbershop singing is the best hobby that I have ever had.
Ron Rowston – Vice Chairman
Started barbershop singing in 1977 with a break from barbershop between 1984 and 1994. Positions held are chairman, regional rep., and sergeant at arms – in charge of club discipline! As Chorus Rep, if anyone has a problem within the club and comes to see me I will try to sort it out without troubling the committee. As well as singing with Stockport I have sung with Rainy City, and the Northernaires in Holland. I currently sing with Phoenix Knights of Harmony in Bolton. I have attended five international conventions in America at Salt Lake City, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh and Nashville
Chris has been in barbershop for 23 years, previously singing with Coventry, Preston & Manchester choruses. He sang lead but recently joined the bass section for a fresh challenge. Also enjoys karaoke!
